  • Start at 2 pieces and work up at your own pace
  • Unlimited zoom for larger, clearer pieces
  • Optional hints, always available
  • No timers, no scores, no leaderboards
  • No ads during play and no required subscription

  • Works offline once a puzzle is downloaded
  • Interface available in 18 languages

What makes a puzzle app comfortable to play?

Mostly the things it does not do. Puzzitive has no countdown, no score, no streak to maintain and no competitive element, so putting it down mid-puzzle costs nothing. Zoom is unlimited, which is the single most useful accessibility feature in a jigsaw game — pieces are as large as you want them. Hints are one tap away and carry no penalty. And because no ad ever interrupts a puzzle, nothing unexpected takes over the screen while you are concentrating.

Where should a new player start?

Start low. A 12- or 24-piece puzzle takes a couple of minutes and makes the controls obvious: drag a piece, pinch to zoom, tap for a hint. From there move up whenever it feels too easy. Because any count from 2 to 1,000 is available, there is no jump between "trivial" and "overwhelming" — you can nudge the difficulty a little at a time.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. Download a batch of puzzles while you have WiFi and they play offline afterwards, which suits travel, hospital stays or a patchy connection at home. Only AI image generation needs a connection, and you never have to use it.

Can I use my own photographs?

Yes, and it is often the nicest way to use the app. Pick photos of family, of places you have been, of a garden, and turn them into puzzles at whatever size feels right. It costs nothing, there is no limit, and the finished image can be downloaded at full 4K and shared with the people in it.

Questions answered

Are there large-piece, easy puzzles?

Yes. Set the piece count as low as 2 and pieces are correspondingly large. Combined with unlimited zoom, you can make pieces as big on screen as you need.

Do I have to use the AI features?

Not at all. 500+ hand-picked 4K images are free to play with no prompt, no credits and no AI involved. The AI features sit to one side and stay out of the way.

Will it start asking me to pay?

No. The game is free to play and there is no required subscription. The optional subscription only removes the rewarded ads, which never interrupt a puzzle in the first place.
